What is gauze?

Handling gauze
Gauze has a certain degree of elasticity, but if too much pressure is applied the fabric will stretch, so handle it with care.
Also, because gauze is loosely woven, it has a coarse weave. Once the weave spreads, it is difficult to return to its original shape, so be careful not to get it caught on zippers or buttons.
Furthermore, since it is prone to shrinkage when washed, we recommend soaking it in water first.
Caring for gauze
Gauze can be easily washed in the washing machine. Since it is sensitive to excessive pulling, washing it in a laundry net will help it last longer.
Also, because gauze has a coarse mesh, it may get caught on zippers or buttons of other laundry. It is safer to avoid washing it together with other laundry or to put it in a laundry net.
And because gauze dries quickly, we recommend air drying. When drying, it is best to carefully smooth out any wrinkles and lay it flat to prevent it from drying out while losing its shape.
If there are washing instructions, follow them.
